2022 Outlaw Micro And 360 Winged Sprint Car results
4-16 US24 Speedway Logansport, Indiana. Outlaw non Wing; Went 2nd quick overall in qualifying. Went 3rd to 2nd in the heat. Started on the Pole for the feature and was battling for the lead at the half way point and broke a steering hiem. Did not Finish.
4-23 US24. Outlaw non wing. Went 2nd quick in qualifying. Won the heat race in a fun race with a last lap pass. Started 5th in the main finished 9th.
4-30 US 24 Outlaw nonwing. Qualified 5th in the group which made for a long night. Had to run the B main, finished 2nd. A good run in the A main 18th to 7th. On to the next.
5-26 thru 5-28 Non Winged World Championship at Circus City Speedway. Peru, Indiana
Day1 went 5th to second in the heat. In the qualifier went 2nd to first. Main went 20th to 6th after a racing deal.
Day 2 finished 4th in the qualifier. Started 10th in the main and finished 7th after some good hard racing.
After 3 days of racing Bobby won the B main and finished 10th in the Non Winged World Championship. This was to be his last Micro race in our car.
360 Sprint car Results
6-26 Freemont Speedway. Freemont, OH. With the Great lakes Super Sprints (GLSS) In his first Sprint car race Bobby went 12th quick in qualifying and as a courtesy started at the rear of his heat and went 8th to 5th. Then in the feature as a courtesy again started at the rear and went 22nd to 12th a great charge in his first Sprint car race!
7-1 I96 Speedway. Lake Odessa, Mi. Qualified 12th out of 24 sprints and finished a respectable 3rd in the heat. Brought it home 12th in the feature in a learning experience.
7-8 Winston Speedway. Rothbury, Michigan GLSS. Qualifying put him behind for the night with a tough deal. Heat went 5th to 5th rebounded in the a main came from 14th to finish 8th. He is getting more comfortable each race.
7-15 Hartford Mi. Rain out.
7-22 Limaland Speedway. Lima Oh. Ran with the NRA sprint group. Qualified 11th. Started 5th in the heat went to 6th after a rough ride. Started 17th in the feature, had it up to 8th with 4 to go and a flat rt rear had him limp home in 11th.
7-29 I 96 Speedway Qualified 10th and finished 3rd in his heat to start 9th in the feature. Blew a power steering line while in 7th and limped it home to a disappointing 12th.
7-30 Freemont Speedway. Qualified 11th quick out of 30. finished fourth in the heat and struggled to 11th in the feature on a technical track, learning as we go.
8-5 Mount Pleasant Speedway, Mi. Won his first heat race! Started 5th in the feature and brought it home 6th. Good night
8-6 Silver Bullet Speedway. Owendale, Mi. Tough night qualified 12th and finished 12th in the feature.
8-12 Hartford Speedway, Mi. Went 11 th quick in qualifying. Won the heat race, which put Bobby on the pole for the feature. He fought for a 6th place finish.
8-19 I96 Speedway Lake Odessa Mi. Qualified 8th, finished 2nd in a tough heat. Started 5th in the main, ended up on his side DNF.
9-2 Hartford speedway, Michigan. went 5th quick in qualifying, 4th in the heat and ahd to come from the rear in the main with 11 to go, all the way to finish 8th.
9-3 Attica Speedway, Attica Oh, Struggled a bit, 4th in his heat to the B main finished 4th needed to be third.
9-15 Freemont Speedway, Freemont Oh. Racing the 360 against the 410s. Went 6th quick in qualifying, finished 2nd in the heat race. Made the redraw started on the front row led a lap or 2 made a mistake finished 12the bent up.
10-14 thru 15th. Lernerville Speedway. Lernerville Pa. 1st start in a 410. Driving the Lane racing entry qualified 18th and went 5th to 5th in his heat. In the A feature went from 15th to a fast closing 12th. Ran the 8th fastest lap overall in the race towards the end. A good first time out.
11-11 thru 11-12 Southern Speedway, Milton Florida. USCS Battle at the Beach. Friday went 6th to 5th in the heat. Started 14th in the feature and got caught up in someone elses mess stalled avoiding it and raced from 23rd up to 11th passing and lapping a lot of cars.
Saturday went 8th to 4th in the heat just missing the dash and started 7th in the feature. Worked his way up to a 4th place finish. Good run to finish the year.
